One-of-one Kona Blue Bullitt Mustang to be raffled off for charity

A Bullitt Mustang not finished in the iconic Highland Green paintjob? Surely this is an insult to the late Steve McQueen.

Not to worry as this special Bullitt Mustang will be raffled off for charity. Yes you read that right, the only Kona Blue Bullitt Mustang in the world will not be coming to a showroom near you. Rather, Ford will be raffling off the one-of-a-kind stallion to help find a cure for Juvenile Diabetes.

As mentioned earlier, it does not get the signature green color that it is famous for. Instead it gets a Kona Blue finish, one of several new colors introduced in the 2018 Mustang. The original 19-inch Torque Thrust black alloy wheels also received a color change as they now are painted in gray. Finally, the blue hue also makes its way inside the Bullitt Mustang thanks to blue cabin contrast stitching.

Under the hood, the 5.0-liter V8 gets the same powertrain upgrade as the standard Bullitt Mustang. Thanks to a new cold-air intake system, performance tune upgrade and bigger throttle body, the Coyote V8 now cranks out 480 PS. Power is then sent to a six-speed manual gearbox that comes with the unique cue-ball-style gear shifter. Beyond that, the Kona Blue special also comes with a Brembo brake performance package for better stopping power.
