Aston Martin will exhibit cars that don the brand's personalization service Q by Aston Martin at the Pebble Beach Automotive Week.
Galpin-Aston Martin, a dealer partner based in Los Angeles, specified the customizations done for the four bespoke cars. The display aims to show the personalization options that are available for customers who opt for it.
The first car is a Vanquish Coupe that is painted in Abor Orange, a Q by Aston Martin exclusive color that has a pearl effect finish. The carbon fiber panels found on the exterior have a bolder weave arrangement due to an enlarged weave construction. The interior is covered in Obsidian Black leather and is accented by the “Helix” carbon molecule design that is engraved on the headliner and door panels.
The Vanquish Volante is the second car to get the Q treatment. It is painted in Frosted Silver, a new Q color finish. It is complemented by a set of 10-spoke alloy wheels set on polished calipers. A Chestnut Tan leather interior coats the inside of the Volante and comes along with added rear storage that is themed in authentic equestrian saddle leather. Finishing the interior look is a center console finished in the same exterior console that contrasts with the tanned leather.
The third car is a DB9 Volante that is coated in Ashen Blonde, another exclusive color found only in the Q selection. Inside the DB9, Galpin-Aston Martin selected a blush pearl leather finish with a Piano Ice Mocha colored center console. Completing the interior is a Rhodachrosite stone that decorates the Q badge found on the center console.
The final car done by Galpin-Aston Martin is a V12 Vantage S. It comes in a purple amethyst exterior color that is highlighted with a front grille and rear diffuser, both of which are painted in Monterey Pearl. An Obsidian Black leather interior covers the inside and is accented by purple stitching found in the seat stripe, headlining, steering wheel and glove box lining. Rotary controls that are handcrafted from a single filament of carbon fiber complete the interior look of the V12 Vantage S.
“The Q by Aston Martin collection of cars shown at Pebble Beach are a bold statement of the intent and capability we are developing within Q. They show how customers can be inspired to create truly unique cars and the breadth of bespoke capability at their disposal”, said Matthew Bennett, General Manager for Q and VIP sales.
Over a thousand guests are expected to visit the Aston Martin Estate next week that overlooks Monterey Bay during the Pebble Beach Automotive Week.
