The GLA signifies Mercedes-Benz’s entry to the compact SUV segment. It is the first Mercedes-Benz SUV to offer as an option the latest of the 4MATIC all-wheel drive system with fully variable torque distribution.
Mercedes-Benz S 500 Plug-In Hybrid
The S 500 Plug-In Hybrid is the third hybrid model in the brand following the S 400 Hybrid and the S 300 BlueTEC Hybrid. It has a consumption of 33 km/l and emits 69 grams CO2/km.
The hybrid system is composed of the 109 PS electric motor that has a driving range of 30 km, and the 3.0 liter V6 biturbo engine capable of 333 PS.
Mercedes-Benz S 500 Intelligent Drive
The first ever car that is capable of autonomous driving. The S 500 Intelligent Drive drove more than 100 kilometers following the tracks of pioneer Bertha Benz who made the first ever long-distance journey in a car 125 years ago.
The self-driving S 500 adapted to the different factors present in the traffic such as pedestrians, cyclists, traffic lights, and roundabouts. This is a milestone for Mercedes-Benz as it becomes the first automaker to ever produce such vehicle.
The Intelligent Drive package is now available in the new E and S-Class.
