Infiniti gave the world a first glimpse of its Q30 Concept in Hong Kong prior its Frankfurt premiere this September. The car incorporates the contemporary design vision for a compact Infiniti vehicle meant for a new generation of premium customers. Such vision of a radical shift entails a 'head-turning' design, innovative materials with precise fit and finish, and passionate craftsmanship.
The company considers its concept a fusion of three car types: a coupe, for its sportiness; a hatch, for its room; and a crossover, for its higher stance. Being aimed at younger customers, it can provide an alternative to traditional premium compact vehicles.
The Infiniti design team is led by Executive Design Director Alfonso Albaisa. With his leadership, the company has explored bolder designs that involve ‘sensual sculpting’ and ‘enhanced muscularity’ with the Q30 Concept. The company believes that this vehicle signals the next step in an aggressive strategy that will extend the brand into new premium segments.
