Infiniti will be unveiling its new Q30 Concept at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September. The new model hints the contemporary design intended for a compact Infiniti vehicle that will cater to a new generation of premium customers. It embodies the brand’s vision to deliver head-turning design, innovative materials with precise fit and finish, and passionate craftsmanship.
The Q30 Concept represents the latest evolution of the Infiniti design philosophy that started with the Q50. Both cars use the dramatic design cues from the visionary Infiniti concept trilogy – Essence, Etherea, Emerg-e.
The company is trying to start a shift in the premium compact segment. The Q30’s design should inspire greater standards on the design possibilities that go beyond the norm of today’s market.
This compact car will be the first in the Infiniti line-up to have Sebastian Vettel’s influence from its inception. The driver is currently Infiniti’s Director of Performance, and is actively involved in honing the driving dynamics of the Q50. He already won three Formula One world championships for the Infiniti Red Bull Racing team. Now, he is engaging with the brand’s technical teams to integrate race-bred performance with the brand.
