F-Pace is based on the Jaguar C-X17 concept
Jaguar has revealed the first official image of the F-Pace crossover, set to debut at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show on September 15.
The F-Pace is essentially the production version of the C-X17 concept that was previewed during the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show. Described as the company's “family sports car,” Jaguar's first ever compact SUV features sharp character lines along with swept-back headlights, a vented hood, a roof-mounted spoiler and wraparound taillights. Jaguar says the F-Pace features the brand's lightweight aluminum architecture.
Jaguar also said that the F-Pace will feature class-leading interior space and on-road dynamics with five seats.
In addition, a prototype version of the F-Pace made its first debut run as Team Sky's support vehicle during the 2015 Tour De France held last July 4 to 26.
The automaker has yet to reveal the full details of the Jaguar F-Pace.
