Renault set to reveal the fourth-generation Megane along with the Talisman wagon
The European C-segment will soon welcome a new addition after Renault recently announced that the new-generation Megane will have its global debut at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show.
Set to be revealed in September 15, the fourth-generation Megane will have its global premiere during Renault's press conference which will be attended by Renault Chairman and CEO Carlos Ghosn. Exact details about the new Megane were not provided but the company did brand the upcoming car as a C-segment family car.
Another notable model that will be present during the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show is the Talisman Estate. Essentially the wagon version of the D-segment competitor, the Estate relatively retains the same exterior and interior look apart from the new body style and a powered tailgate.
The engine lineup for the Talisman Estate has been carried over from the sedan and is available with either two turbocharged gasoline engines and three turbodiesels. The gasoline models get a 7-speed dual clutch gearbox while diesel variants are connected to a 6-speed dual clutch gearbox.
Other models that will be present at the motor show are the Kadjar crossover and the new Espace.
