More than a year after the BMW revealed the Vision Next 100 concept, the Munich-based automaker presents the BMW i Vision Dynamics concept at the 67th Frankfurt Motor Show.
A four-door electrified Gran Coupe, it has a range of 600 kilometers and will go from zero to 100 km/h in four seconds all the way to a top speed of 200 km/h.
Characterized by a long wheelbase, flowing roofline and short overhangs, the exterior of the BMW i Vision Dynamics concept will be made to appear like its ‘cut from a single mold’ for ‘elegance and dynamism’ and to enhance aerodynamics.
A full-length glass windscreen runs from front to rear in order to give driver and passenger equal view of the surroundings while also increasing the sensation of spaciousness in the cabin.
Two LED light elements are installed on each side of the vehicle’s nose while the rear features an attractive set of L-shaped lights.
“At the BMW Group, the future of electric mobility has already arrived. We have more electrified vehicles on the road than any established competitor and are committed to expanding our activities in the field of electric mobility as part of our Number One > Next strategy. By 2025 we will be offering 25 models with an electrified drive system – of which 12 will be pure-electric,” said Harald Krüger, Chairman of the Board of Management at BMW AG.
