From a product standpoint, GAC Motor is relatively quiet this year with no all-new or updated models launched. That's because distributor Legado Motors has been busy working on expanding their local dealership network with a new site opening soon.
At the moment, there are six GAC sales and service centers nationwide. The flagship showroom, located in Metrowalk, Pasig; is complemented by dealerships in Las Pinas, Alabang, San Fernando (Pampanga), Tarlac, and Cebu. In a few months, a seventh dealership will join that list with GAC Greenhills getting ready for sales and service.
RYO Motors Philippines forged ahead with its partnership with GAC by becoming the brand's dealer in Greenhills. RYO Motors is headed by its chairman, Jessie Royo. And president, Michael Raymond Teves. "RYO Motors Philippines is looking forward to the expected success with the partnership with GAC Motor. With the opening of our first dealership here in Greenhills, and with combined effort, I strongly believe that we will be an industry leader in providing unmatched quality automotive products and services. The goal is to exceed our customers’ and employees’ expectations to maintain their lifetime loyalty,” said Teves.
Last week, RYO Motors and Legado Motors Inc. (the official GAC distributor in the country) sealed the deal with over 90 units bound for the Greenhills dealership. With that, the upcoming dealership is fully stocked, even before its doors officially open.
Once GAC Greenhills is in operation, customers can avail or inquire about any model from the automaker. From the sedan line-up, there are two, namely the GA4 and GA8, while the only MPV they offer (for now) is the GM8. As for the crossover range, it's much more extensive. It starts with the GS3 subcompact, followed by the GS4 compact, and the mid-sized GS8.
