The humble Toyota Vitz (JDM Yaris) and the eco-friendly Prius C will be arriving at the 2017 Tokyo Auto Salon with more flair after the the company's racing arm, Toyota Gazoo Racing teased special edition concepts of the two hatchbacks.
Simply called the TGR Vitz and TGR Prius c, both cars appear to have a sportier finish. Both hatchbacks gets a new front bumper with bigger air intakes and cannards that improve airflow. The headlights also appeared to have been tweaked as well, while new 'GR' badging can be seen near the front grill. Completing it all are the new set of alloy wheels for the TGR Vitz and TGR Prius c.
Apart from the upcoming concepts, the racing arm also revealed their booth design for the 2017 Tokyo Auto Salon. For next year, Toyota Gazoo Racing's theme will be 'Open Pit, Open Garage' which will display various cars that competed in motorsports, as well as vehicles that were developed as a result of the race competitions.
Some of the cars that will be on display include the new Yaris WRC, customized CH-R models and previous rally cars that joined WRC. Lexus, on the other hand, will be holding the world premiere of their new GT3 racer based off the Lexus RC F.
