Following the launch of the all-new Coolray, Geely Philippines recently opened the doors to its flagship dealership right in the heart of Quezon City. Located right along EDSA and at the corner of Corregidor street, Sojitz G Auto built the Geely showroom to the tune of a 1,160 square meter space.
The opening of the new dealership saw guests of honor Congressman Onyx Crisologo and Councilor TJ Calalay of Quezon City, officials from Sojitz Corporation headed by president and CEO Mr. Masayoshi Fujimoto, Geely Holding group officials led by Mr. An Conghui, president and CEO of Geely Holding Group, and Mrs. Helen Yuchengco-Dee of House of Investments at the inauguration.
With an impressive 20-car display space plus an additional 2,600 square meter area for after-sales concerns, this is one of the biggest Geely dealerships in the world. The SGAP showroom facility also hosts comfortable lounges for customers and guests for both sales and after-sales. Apart from the recently launched Coolray sub-compact SUV, also in display in the North EDSA showroom are models that showcase the latest technology of Geely such as the Coolray plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) and the all-new Atlas compact SUV.
Geely has been on an upward surge since its relative quiet (re-) entry into the Philippine market, and while we’ve only had the opportunity to see and drive the Coolray as of this posting, the brand is poised to make waves in the industry. With the opening of its new flagship dealership, the buying public can now see and feel Geely’s automobiles for themselves.
