Pagani Automobili went to Geneva with a mission in mind: to succeed the mind-blowing Zonda supercar. For over 7 years, Horacio Pagani had been working on the replacement for their flagship supercar, initially called the C9.

The all new supercar was conceived in 2003, "imagined as totally different in form, dimension, dymanics and technology" to quote Horacio Pagani himself. Engineering-wise, the C9 is made up of more than 4000 new components in a car that has grown in length and track. The engine is developed by Mercedes AMG; a V12 twin turbo with over 700 horsepower and 1100 Newton meters of torque available on tap which, Pagani promises, has a very linear power delivery for a turbo engine.

And yes, they've named it the Huayra.
