RUF Automobile, widely known as the rebuilders of Porsches to elevate them to even higher performance levels, is coming to the Geneva Motor Show with a very special group of cars to reveal.

According to the RUF Facebook page, they will be taking the wraps off 6 models, described as follows: “The new stunning 'CT', the new rocket 'Rt', the new racer 'RG' and the new luxury 'RX'”. RUF also stated that they will have “the grandfather of RUF Turbo cars” at the show, along with a surprise reveal of another car.

RUF, founded by Alois Ruf, Sr., has been in the business of building high performance Porsches for a long time. Contrary to popular belief, RUF actually receives the bare bodies from Porsche AG, and then proceeds to introduce a long list of high performance enhancements to take the base car to an even higher plane. These enhancements include things like seam welding, lightened and stiffened body panels, increased engine size and other specific performance mods not normally seen on a road car.

RUF is most popularly known for the CTR “Yellowbird”, a turbocharged, lightweight model based on the 911 Carrera back in the 80's. The Yellowbird lapped the Nurburgring Nordschleife in 1987 with a time of 8:05, still a blistering time to this day.
