Highlights sixty years of collaboration with Aston Martin
Italian design and coachbuilding house Bertone will be putting on display at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show its latest creation, a shooting brake version of the Aston Martin Rapide.
The Aston Martin Rapide Bertone was commissioned by an avid Aston Martin collector, who even personally supervised the whole development process of the vehicle from the design study, to the manufacturing process, up until the bespoke paintjob and upholstery.
Although its powertrain remains unchanged, the redesigned body now offers more headroom for the rear seats, which can also be folded down flat and covered with a sliding compartment cover to accommodate more luggage.
The Aston Martin Rapide Bertone not only marks the company's sixty years of cooperation with Aston Martin, but will also be the brand's way of commemorating Aston Martin's 100th year anniversary.
