Audi is set to reveal the third generation TT at the Geneva Motor show in March. The design concept of the new Audi TT takes its cues from the first generation model that was launched in 1998.
The front end of the new Audi TT has a dominant horizontal design. The singleframe grill of the vehicle is broad and flat. The four rings logo is now positioned on the hood of the car which is similar to the Audi R8. The headlights are designed with divider struts that serves as reflectors for the daytime running light. Audi offers an option with their Matrix LED technology where controllable individual light-emitting diodes generate the main beam.
The rear end of the Audi TT also has horizontal lines that reinforce the vehicle’s wide impression. The taillights follows the design concept of Audi TT’s headlights and it remains permanently on. It also has two large round exhaust tailpipes.
Audi says, the interior of the car evokes a clean sports car character that has a light design. The center console and door trims are designed in similar shape. It also has round air vents which is a classic TT feature. Audi also replaces the central MMI monitor with a virtual cockpit.
However, Audi has not yet released the engine specifications of the new TT model.
