Audi's full-size SUV gets a hybrid variant as the company recently unveiled the Q7 e-tron diesel plug-in hybrid at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show.

Exterior-wise it has the same features of the 2015 Q7 apart from a new rear diffuser and different 19-inch alloy wheels.

The interior also carries over from standard Q7 models but its MMI navigation system is integrated with the hybrid management system. With this, the system can automatically select what driving mode is best depending on traffic conditions.

Under the hood, the plug-in hybrid powertrain consist of a 3.0-liter TDI inline-six engine that produces 258 PS and is coupled with a 94 kw electric motor. In total, the Q7 e-tron has a combined system output of 373 PS and 700 Nm of torque.

It is mated to a 8-speed tiptronic gearbox and runs on Audi's quattro AWD system which allows it to go from 0 – 100 km/h in 6 seconds before hitting a top speed of 225 km/h. It averages 58.8 km/l which gives it a combined range of 1,410 km. In addition, it also has the best-in-class electric range of 56 km.
