Morgan has officially launched the fifth-generation Aero 8 at this year's Geneva Motor Show. The all-new Aero 8 still bears the classic lines and silhouette but now features added mechanical upgrades.
For starters, its aluminum chassis has better torsional stiffness along with an all-new suspension fitted with anti-roll bars.
Inside, the automaker applied minor revisions on the Aero 8 including authentic wood accents and fine leather trim. It has a flat-bottom steering wheel, a new aircon system, an optional touchscreeen infotainment system and carbon seats.
Under the hood, it is powered by the carried-over 4.8-liter V8 sourced from BMW that generates 371 PS. It can be mated to either a six-speed manual or automatic gearbox which comes with paddle shifters.
Additional equipment found on the new Aero 8 include: a BMW-sourced limited slip differential (LSD), anti-lock brakes (ABS) with electronic brakeforce distribution (EBD), cruise control, power steering and airbags.
Production of the all-new Morgan Aero 8 will begin at Q4 of 2015 and will be available with an optional hardtop in the future.
