Porsche has just revealed the 911 GT3 RS which combines a lightweight body that is coupled to a new naturally aspirated flat-six engine.

Weight-reduction was a key factor in making the 911 GT3 RS as it uses an aluminum body combined with a magnesium roof and carbon fiber reinforced plastic (CFRP) hood and engine cover. In total, the 911 GT3 RS has a curb weight of 1,420 kg, 10 kg lighter than the standard 911 GT3.

Design-wise it still resembles the current-generation 911s but gains additional aerodynamic equipment like revised front wings with air ducts, a splitter, a built-in duck spoiler at the engine cover and a prominent wing.

The interior largely carries over from the standard GT3 model and only gets minor add-ons like a white tachometer, body-colored upholstery and stitching, a three-spoke steering wheel wrapped in Alcantara and carbon fiber inserts on the dashboard and door panels.

Powering the 911 GT3 RS is a new 4.0-liter naturally aspirated flat-six engine that cranks out 500 PS and is mated to an updated 7-speed DCT. The all-new Porsche can go from 0 – 100 km/h in 3.3 seconds and hit a top speed of more than 322 km/h.
