Following its launch in South Korea last month, SsangYong has announced that the 2015 Tivoli is set to make its global debut at the upcoming Geneva International Motor Show next week.
As previously reported, SsangYong's latest crossover takes its design cues from the XIV-Air and XIV-Adventure concept vehicles that was first previewed during the 2014 Paris Motor Show. Up front, it has sharp-looking headlights with LED daytime running lights along with an aggressive bumper that houses the Tivoli’s fog lamps. It also has a mesh grill as well as a sculpted hood and bulging fenders.
The rear of the 2015 Tivoli is characterized by edgy lines along with distinctive taillights and a roof-mounted spoiler. The bumper of the vehicle is integrated with reflector lights and black garnish.
Inside, SsangYong incorporated a two-tone interior theme of black and red along with silver accents. This theme goes along with a touchscreen display, dual-zone climate control, rearview camera, Bluetooth, seven airbags and a sunroof.
During its Geneva debut, the 2015 Tivoli is equipped with a 1.6-liter e-XGi petrol engine that is connected to either an automatic or manual transmission. However, the South Korean automaker remains to withhold the power output rating of the said engine. Moreover, SsangYong said that a 1.6-liter diesel engine will be made available on a later date.
