Geneva 2016: Subaru XV concept makes global debut


Subaru XV concept revealed in Geneva

The Subaru XV concept has debuted at the 2016 Geneva International Motor Show, previewing the brand's future design of the next-generation XV.

According to the Japanese automaker, the XV concept features the brand's 'Dynamic X Solid' design language. Up front, it is fitted with a hexagonal grill, 'hawk-eye' LED headlights and an aggressive bumper.

Turning at the side, the concept is integrated with a character line that extends from the front fender up to the rear shoulder. It also has prominent wheel arches, matte black cladding and roof rails.


The rear of the XV concept has wraparound combination taillights as well as a large bumper and a roof-mounted spoiler. It is finished off with 19-inch alloy wheels.  

In terms of dimensions, the XV concept measures 4520mm long, 1920mm wide and 1570mm tall along with a wheelbase of 2670mm.  

However, Subaru has yet to reveal the XV concept's interior and powertrain details.
