This year's Geneva International Motor Show will see the new E-Class family be finally complete with the official unveiling of the 2018 E-Class Cabriolet. This has not come at a surprise as camouflaged versions of the E-Class Cabriolet has already spied testing the past several months.

A cabriolet version of the E-Class is nothing new as Mercedes has already shown the E-Class Coupe. The automated soft-top folding roof is expected to be like the ones used in the C-Class and S-Class Cabriolets. Aside from retractable roof, the E-Class Cabriolet is expect to be identical to its hard-top counterpart.

No official word yet regarding the powerplant, but it is expected to be a twin-turbo 3.0-liter V6 engine found in the other 2018 E-Class models. To put the power down, a 9-speed automatic will be fitted as well.

With the preview not giving much details, we can only wait until Mercedes-Benz pulls the cover off the new E-Class Cabriolet this coming March at the Geneva International Motor Show to get the full details. For now, enjoy the lines of the up-coming E-Class Cabriolet.
