Ssangyong combines toughness with convienience in upcoming XAVL concept
Ssangyong will be at this year's 2017 Geneva International Motor Show with yet, another crossover concept. Called the XAVL, the all-new concept is a further iteration of the XAV concept that was first shown at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show.
According to the automaker, the midsize XAVL crossover concept takes styling cues from the second-generation Korando that saw production from 1996 – 2006. Short for 'eXciting Authentic Vehicle Long SUV', the concept blends toughness with advanced practicality and convienience.
Based on the design sketches, the XAVL follows with the brand's current design language. It gets a prominent front fascia, along with overly-large alloy wheels. It also has flared wheel arches, sleek roofline and eye-catching taillights that run the entired width of the car.
Inside, Ssangyong claimed it can seat seven in comfort and comes with the latest in in-car technology, as well as in digital display. A plethora of safety features will also come as standard to safeguard both driver and passenger/s.
A wide array of gasoline- and diesel-powered engines will be available for the XAVL concept.
The 2017 Geneva International Motor Show will begin on March 7.
