A few years ago, Denmark was not known for building supercars. Thanks to supercar maker Zenvo, the country was put on the automotive map by building their own supercar, the Zenvo ST1. To celebrate their 10th anniversary, Zenvo is going all out at this year’s Geneva Motor Show by unveiling their latest car yet, the Zenvo TS1 GT.
Following the unveil of the Zenvo TS1 last year at the same stage, the evolution TS1 GT has been previewed ahead of its stage debut at this year’s Geneva Motor Show. The one-off TS1 GT is painted in Fjord Blue with bronze accents running from the roof to the hood of the supercar.
The TS1 GT, much like the standard TS1, uses a carbon fiber body and a light-weight steel/aluminum monocoque achieving a dry weight of 1,580 kilograms. Powering the TS1 GT is a twin-supercharged 5.8-liter V8 producing 1,180 PS and 1,100 Nm of torque. With all that power, top speed is electronically capped at 375 kilometers per hour and will do 0-100 in 2.8 seconds.
To be able to put the power down, a newly developed seven-speed transmission is used, which according to Zenvo “provides ultrafast gearshifts at almost at par with those of Formula 1 cars, and mated to a Torsen limited-slip differential Other features include carbon ceramic ventilated disk brakes and forged 20-inch wheels.
No photo of the interior has been provided but Zenvo says that it has a non-asymmetrical design along with combination of leather and carbon fiber. The instrument surrounds and the switches are made copper and rhodium. All in all, the interior took around 8,000 man hours to complete and is tailor made for the TS1 GT.
Pricing for the Zenvo TS1 GT has yet to be revealed but rumor has it that Zenvo wants close to £1 million should a customer buy this one of one supercar.
