New-generation Tucson features new Hyundai design language
Earlier this month Hyundai released the official sketches of the all-new Tucson. Now, the Korean automaker has released the first photos the Geneva-bound compact crossover.
The 2016 Tuscon is now 65 mm longer and 30mm wider while its height has been reduced to 1645mm compared to its previous 1685mm height.
The design of the new model is a comprehensive redesign compared to the current generation model. The 2016 Tucson gets a new body with restyled details such as the headlamps, wheels, character lines and the tailgate, all while preserving the profile of Hyundai's top selling compact crossover.
The interior has likewise been fully redone as the 2016 Tucson gets a more upscale dashboard and cabin.
The wide array of engines available for the new Tuscon include two gasoline engines that output 135 PS and 176 PS and 3 diesel units that generate 115 PS, 136 PS and 184 PS each. All engines meet Euro6 standard emissions.
Expect more details to be released about the 2016 Hyundai Tucson in the run up to the 2015 Geneva Motor Show.
