Green car company, Genovation Cars, recently announced that they are now accepting pre-orders for the next generation Genovation Extreme Electric (GXE). The company claimed that the Corvette-based EV will become world's fastest street legal all-electric vehicle that stands with a top speed of 330 km/h.

“We are very proud of what we have accomplished with the GXE thus far, pushing the limits for electric-powered cars beyond what most people thought was possible. We are excited to enter the next phase and begin offering this extraordinary vehicle to discerning customers,” said Andrew Saul, CEO of Genovation.

As mentioned, the GXE will be based off a C7 Grand Sport Corvette. It will be re-engineered as a performance-driven all-electric vehicle. It is equipped with a battery management system, inverters, batteries and electric motors which produce an output of 669 PS and 813 Nm of torque.

It also has a range of 209 km during normal driving operation, along with near 50:50 weight distribution, and a lower center of gravity. The Corvette EV will also feature an exterior made from innovative green composites and custom interior accoutrements.

Each will be customized according to the client's design and finishing request. Thus, the company claims that the vehicle will be one-of-a-kind.

The GXE will be limited to only 75 vehicles. To ensure reservation of this limited-edition Corvette, interested customers can now pre-order through the brand's online site.

Genovation Cars said that after a 2-year design period and the 1 year building time, the first GXE vehicles are expected to arrive by Q4 of 2019.
