Get discounts at Unioil if you're already vaccinated

Just show your Covid-19 vaccination card, get a discount at Unioil

Unioil is offering a unique kind of discount for motorists, and there's no need to sign up for any kind of membership. The only requirement? You have to be vaccinated.

Starting June 1, 2021, Unioil is offering a discount on all fuels for people who have been vaccinated already. Specifically, those that gas up with Euro5 diesel will get PHP 2.00 off per liter. Meanwhile, those filling up with Euro5 gasoline (91, 95, and 97) can avail of the larger PHP 3.00 per liter discount.

To avail of the fuel discount, motorists will only have to show their vaccination card. It doesn't matter what brand you got jabbed with either. Only have your first shot? That's fine too. As long as you have your vaccination card with you, you can already avail yourself of Unioil's discount. According to the company, it's a way of thanking people for getting vaccinated.

Before you ask, you can only use one discount at a time. So no, you can't use the vaccination card discount with the S&R Membership discount at the same time.

The discount runs from June 1 to June 15, 2021. Hopefully Unioil extends it further, given the slow rollout of vaccines in the country. It might just be enough to entice people to get vaccinated.
