Judging by the spy photos we've been seeing, the current iteration of the City and the Jazz won't be too long in this world. But that doesn't mean Honda will just leave things as it is. In fact, we'll be getting two new limited-run models.

Dubbed the City Sport and the Jazz Sport, Honda's subcompact duo get visual upgrades, and a bit more standard kit along the way.

Starting with the City Sport, it gets something typically reserved for the VX+ variant. That's the LED headlights and it comes standard in this model. LED foglights are also part of the package. Also included are power folding side mirrors with integrated turn signals, along with chrome door handles. As for the rear, it gets a trunk lip spoiler and a Sport Edition badge to separate it from the standard variants. Price? It starts at Php 899,000, slotting it in between the 1.5 E CVT (Php 876,000), and 1.5 VX Navi CVT (Php 985,000).

Like the City Sport, the Jazz Sport gets some elements from the range-topping variant, the RS. While it doesn't get LED headlights, the Sport does gain 16-inch alloys straight from the RS, along with a larger tailgate spoiler and mirror caps finished in gloss black. It also gets the Sport Edition badge like its sedan counterpart. The Jazz Sport starts at Php 933,000, just above the 1.5 V CVT (Php 918,000) and a lot less than the 1.5 VX Navi (Php 998,000). All Jazz Sport models for the Philippines are finished in Brilliant Sporty Blue, a color that was previously exclusive to the RS.

So if you see one of these on the road, do take a photo of it. Only 30 of these cars will be sold nationwide, making it one of the rarest cars to be offered by Honda Cars Philippines Inc.
