There's a lot of active safety systems out in the market today, but how does it really work? At this year's Philippine International Motor Show, Honda puts you in the driver's seat to understand how their system works, virtually that is.
Yes, Honda will let you try out their Honda Sensing safety suite, without ever having to leaving the comfort of their booth. There, visitors will get to experience the key features of Honda Sensing. The safety package includes features such as Lane Keep Assist System, Adaptive Cruise Control, Low Speed Follow, Collision Mitigation Braking System, Road Departure Mitigation, and Forward Collision Warning.
Just put on the VR goggles, and you'll find yourself inside a virtual Honda CR-V, complete with a full cabin. There, you get to experience the six key Honda Sensing features in an immersive, 3D world. But if you want to have these features and feel them in the real world, the Honda Sensing safety package is standard on the top of the line model of the CR-V, the 1.6 SX AWD. The CR-V 1.6 SX AWD retails for Php 2,125,000.
Aside from the Honda Sensing virtual experience, the CR-V variant with the safety suite is also on display. The Honda booth at PIMS 2018 features the aforementioned virtual experience and top-spec CR-V, Small RS Concept, the City, the Civic Type R, and the very first locally-assembled BR-V.
