There's nothing quite like going on a camping (or glamping) trip in the woods. Away from the hustle and bustle of the city, one can get to enjoy what Mother Nature has to offer. But going off the grid means you have to have a proper vehicle that can take you outdoors, as well as have all the amenities you'll need for the trip.

Ram, with help from Mopar, may just have what you need. Say hello to the Ram 1500 Rebel Off The Grid (OTG) concept. Drawing inspiration from completely-decked out adventure vehicles, the 1500 Rebel OTG combines all-terrain capability with the comforts of a mobile camp into one vehicle.

Serving as its centerpiece is a fully-equipped bed and a roof rack system atop the truck bed itself. The former houses a battery-powered cooler and a kitchen unit complete with a gas-powered stove, sink, and on-board water system. It even has additional storage for tools and other equipment needed while in the great outdoors.

As for the latter, it holds a collapsible rooftop tent that can be accessed via a stowable ladder. This allows the occupants to sleep atop the truck itself in case they don't plan on putting up a separate tent on the ground. It has no gas-powered generator set but the concept does come with a solar panel set that provides electricity and as a backup power supply. Have air-powered tools? The OTG also comes with an onboard air compressor.

Aside from having a fully-laden bed, the concept is also equipped with various off-road upgrades. It has a two-inch lift kit, Beadlock wheels wrapped in 35-inch Goodyear tires, a Mopar front bumper with an integrated power winch, a flow-through style front grill, an air snorkel, additional LED lights, flared wheel arches, and step-assist rock rails.

While this concept may not go into production, perhaps its equipment and features could be available as aftermarket upgrades from Mopar. What we do know, however, is that Ram's latest concept is surely a vehicle we want to be in when going on a camping or glamping trip.
