Goodyear PH launches Eagle F1 Sport tires

Are you looking for fresh new treads for your sedan? Goodyear Philippines revealed its latest addition to the Eagle F1 family, the Eagle F1 Sport.

Goodyear Philippines says it is a fun and sporty tire that provides ‘excellent handling and braking’ and targets motorists who drive mid-sized performance cars and even sports versions of passenger cars.

The Goodyear Eagle F1 Sport has the Eagle Claw Tread design. It has large outside shoulder blocks to maximize shoulder contact patch, allows optimum transmission of steering inputs, and improves stability and responsiveness during cornering and braking maneuvers.

It also comes with ActiveControl Technology that enhances the cavity shape with high stiffness and a lightweight belt component that increases tire stiffness to maintain a stable footprint allowing direct force transmission for effective braking performance.

The high silica-loaded tread compound with upgraded polymer matrix enhances chemical and material blending for performance optimization, which leads to effective braking and superior grip performance on wet and dry roads.

Finally, its closed tread pattern with narrow lateral grooves and an adjusted sipe geometry design reduces noise generated by air pumping on the tread surface, which reduces interior noise for a more comfortable and quieter ride. It also comes with noise-dampening rubber strips between the ply and the liner. It lowers radiating noise from the tire structure, which reduces interior noise.

The Goodyear Eagle F1 Sport is available in 15 to 19-inch wheel diameters in 35 sizes. Its target fitment includes mid-sized performance cars like Honda City RS 1.5 CVT and the sports version of passenger cars, such as the Honda Civic 1.5 Turbo.
