Looking for a job where all you have to do is ride an autonomous car and check how it handles itself in the city? Look no more as Google is currently hiring people for that kind of occupation.
Listed at HireArt, Google is looking for individuals that will become a part of Google's self-driving car project. As a vehicle safety specialist, one will have to ride in one of Google's self-driving cars for 6-8 hours a day, five days a week. While inside the car, they will have to monitor the car's performance and how it reacts to road hazards.
They will then have to make a written or oral feedback for the engineering team. Beyond that, vehicle safety specialists also have to complete daily reports, document all procedures and tests and be available for long travels up to one month at a time.
To become eligible for the 12-month contract, one needs a Bachelor of Science or Arts degree, clean driving record with no criminal history and must be able to type at least 40 words per minute. Other than that, they will also have to pass several training checkpoints both in and out of the autonomous car.
