Here are the (initial) specs of Honda Prelude e:HEV for PH
The DOE has already listed the Prelude e:HEV as a hybrid electric vehicle for PH

Just before the holidays last year, Honda Cars Philippines Inc. (HCPI) gave us a glimpse of the all-new Prelude e:HEV. With that, we can expect the automaker to launch the new 2+2 hybrid coupe sometime in 2026.
Since HCPI already received regulatory approval for a passenger vehicle with a 1993cc engine (translates to a 2.0L displacement), it might not be long before the Honda Prelude makes its official debut in the Philippines.

Fast forward to the first working week of 2026, and the Department of Energy (DOE) has officially recognized the Honda Prelude as a hybrid electric vehicle (HEV). More importantly, the agency has revealed some of the key specifications of the electrified coupe.
Starting with its size, the Honda Prelude measures 4522mm in length, 1880mm in width, and 1355mm in height. It also has a 2605mm wheelbase and a minimum ground clearance of 115mm. Just like the model launched in Japan, the PH-spec Prelude will strictly be a 2+2 coupe.

Under the hood, the Prelude gets a 2.0L naturally aspirated four-cylinder Atkinson cycle engine that makes 141 PS and 182 Nm of torque. It is then assisted by an electric motor that delivers 184 PS between 5000 and 6000 rpm and 315 Nm of torque from 0 to 2000 rpm. It is then mated to an E-CVT, which benefits from the brand's S+ shift mode that can simulate gear shifts. It also has a 40-liter fuel tank and is rated to run on 91 octane fuel.
Other key features of the Honda Prelude e:HEV include 19-inch alloy wheels wrapped in 235/40 series tires, Brembo brake calipers, a 9-inch touchscreen media display that comes with Google Automotive Services and wireless Android Auto & Apple CarPlay, an 8-speaker Bose sound system, a 10.2-inch digital instrument display, dual-zone climate control, and Honda Sensing.

With the DOE already recognizing the Prelude as a hybrid, we won't have to wait long for Honda's newest hybrid to make its presence felt. Here's to hoping the automaker reveals it soon.
