Suzuki's tiny 4x4 is set to make its Philippine debut soon and it looks like there could be a variant priced at less than a million Pesos. With just a week left before Suzuki Philippines (SPH) launches the all-new Jimny, what could be the official pricing of the new 4x4 has made its way onto the web.

Posted in the Facebook Marketplace by user Joy Lagdaan, the new Jimny will supposedly be available in three variants. Following the online post, we had 3 Suzuki dealerships confirm that the prices are correct. The range supposedly (more importantly: allegedly) starts with the entry-level GL M/T which retails for Php 975,000. It is then followed by the mid-range GL A/T that has a sticker price of Php 1,035,000. Finally, serving as the top-of-the-line model is the GLX A/T which sells for Php 1,085,000. Also worth mentioning is that these may be considered "introductory prices" for the Jimny. The first 3 months may have these exact price tags but after the said time frame, they may still be subject to change.

Final specifications of the 2019 Jimny have yet to be revealed. However, based on our first impression of the 4x4 last year, all variants will be powered by a 1.5-liter K15B inline-four engine with All-Grip Pro 4WD. Available transmissions will include a five-speed manual and a four-speed automatic. As far as amenities and features are concerned, the new Jimny could be available with the following: automatic climate control, touchscreen infotainment with navigation, anti-lock brakes (ABS) with electronic brakeforce distribution (EBD), and dual SRS airbags.

Suzuki Philippines will officially launch the fourth-generation Jimny on March 8, 2019.
