Changan Motor Philippines Inc (CMPI) is out to get a slice of the automotive pie with its lineup of brand new cars. After showcasing each of the car’s specs and features, CMPI has released the special introductory price list of its lineup.
Starting with the Alsvin, the B-segment sedan will start at PhP 539,000. The range starts with the 1.4L M/T which comes with a 100 PS, 1.4-liter four-cylinder mated to a five-speed manual. Next up is the 1.5L DCT which, as the name implies, has a slightly more powerful 107 PS, 1.5-liter inline-four. No manuals here as it gets a 5-speed wet dual-clutch transmission. It will sell for PhP 599,000.
Last but not least is the top-spec 1.5L DCT Platinum. It gets the same level of features as the standard DCT but gets a few extras here and there. These include leather upholstery, power sunroof, reverse camera, LED daytime running lights, center armrest, and cruise control. It currently has a sticker price of PhP 639,000.
Available colors for the 2021 Alsvin are Deep Blue, Glory Red, Pearl Black, Silver Gray, and Snow White.
Next on the list is the CS35 Plus. It serves as the brand’s smallest and most affordable crossover. It packs a 1.5-liter turbocharged inline-four that makes 158 PS and 230 Nm of torque. The engine is then mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. The CS35 Plus can be yours for PhP 999,000.
The CS35 Plus is only available in one variant and will come in five different colors - Blue, Brown, Gray, Red, and White.
Those looking to get a sporty crossover can get the aggressive-looking CS75 Plus. Set to go up against the likes of the CR-V, RAV4, Tucson, and Sportage, Changan’s C-segment crossover blends sleek styling, high-tech features, and turbocharged performance. Like the CS35, the CS75 Plus also has a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine. However, this one makes more power at 178 PS with 265 Nm of torque. A 6-speed automatic gearbox sends power to the front wheels
Interested in getting one? The CS75 Plus retails for PhP 1,229,000. Meanwhile, available exterior colors for the CS75 Plus include Black, Blue, Gray, and White.
Serving as Changan’s flagship crossover is the CS95. Not only is it the biggest and most high-tech crossover in Changan’s lineup, but it’s also the only crossover to have three rows of seats. Powering this particular 7-seater is a potent 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder. It makes 232 PS along with an impressive 360 Nm of torque. Power is then sent to a six-speed automatic transmission that drives the front wheels.
The CS95 has a sticker price of PhP 2,178,000 and is available in four exterior colors: Black, Brown, Gray, and White.
Besides offering a range of crossovers and one sedan, Changan PH is also selling an electric vehicle (EV) Called the Eado EV460, it’s the company’s take on a zero-emissions vehicle that is sleek and stylish. It was named as the best ‘Green Car’ in China and comes with six airbags, leather seats, and electronic stability control.
The Eado EV460 is only available as an indent order and only comes in one color; White.
