It looks like Audi is setting up for the reveal of the 2019 TT soon. As a way to entice the motoring public, Audi recently posted the first teaser photos of the updated sports car on their official Facebook page.
Beginning with the most obvious change, the 2019 TT gets a sleeker set of LED taillights. Beneath those are what appear to be reshaped air vents for improved engine cooling. Finally, there's the new five-spoke alloy wheels wrapped in low-profile tires.
While we have yet to see the TT's refreshed face in full, we did get to see a glimpse of it a few months ago thanks to our spies. Based on the photos, both the front grill and headlights get a revamped look for the 2019 update. The former is now bigger than before while the latter received a new design. Also receiving slight tweaks is the front bumper which now comes with bigger vents.
Interior details on the 2019 Audi TT remain scarce although we could see a more high-tech interior with cutting-edge features.
There is no word yet as to what engines will power the 2019 Audi TT. However, do expect a TFSI four-cylinder engine to provide the necessary propulsion. Entry-level models could come with 230 PS and 370 Nm of torque, while the more powerful S variant could produce well over 280 PS and 400 Nm of torque. A six-speed manual and a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox will most likely be the available transmisson choices for the 2019 TT.
Expect Audi to hold the debut of the TT in the coming months.
