Looking to buy an all-new Honda soon? We have some bad news for you as Honda Cars Philippines Inc (HCPI) recently raised its prices on almost all of its models.
Beginning with Honda’s smallest offering, the all-new Brio now starts at Php 598,000 (+Php 13,000) for the 1.2 S M/T. The mid-range 1.2 V CVT, on the other hand is now selling for Php 658,000(+Php 12,000). Go for the top-of-the-line RS CVT and you’ll have to shell out Php 737,000 (+Php 10,000). Those that want a black-painted roof on there RS will still have to pay an additional Php 5,000.
If you want your Brio with a trunk, the Brio Amaze is still available but now has a higher retail price than before. The base model 1.3 E M/T and the mid-range 1.3 S A/T now retail for Php 668,000 (+Php 7,000) and Php 728,000 (+Php 6,000) accordingly. The 1.3 V A/T, on the other hand, is now at Php 848,000 (+Php 5,000).
Next on the list is the slightly bigger Jazz which also got a slight bump in price. The 1.5 V M/T now has a sticker price of Php 868,000 (+ Php 11,000) while the 1.5 V CVT is now at Php 918,000 (+ Php (+Php 15,000). Surprisingly, the VX Navi CVT is still priced at Php 998,000. Meanwhile, the top-spec RS Navi CVT is now Php 10,000 more expensive with its new Php 1,088,000 price tag.
Despite being made locally, the City also received a substantial price increase this month of July. From Php 868,000, the 1.5 E CVT is now selling for Php 876,000 (+Php 8,000). The 1.5 VX CVT, meanwhile, is now going for Php 985,000 (+Php 9,000). Opt for the 1.5 VX+ CVT range-topper and you’ll have to shell out Php 1,068,000 (+Php 9,000).
Planning to buy a CR-V? Be prepared to shell out a bit more money on that as well. Almost all variants of the compact crossover received a Php 10,000 increase across the board. This means the lone 2.0 S CVT gasoline version is now selling at Php 1,668,000 (+Php 10,000) while the V and S 1.6 diesels are now retailing for Php 1,698,000 and Php 1,868,000 respectively. The top-of-the-line SX 1.6 AWD, meanwhile, received the priciest of increase as it is now at Php 2,138,000 (+Php 13,000).
Besides their hatchbacks, sedans and crossovers getting a hike in prices, the Mobilio and Odyssey vans were also struck with increase in pricing. Beginning with the 7-seater MPV, the 1.5 E M/T now sells for Php 895,000 (+Php 11,000) while the midrange 1.5 CVT now goes for Php 968,000 (+Php 10,000). Lastly, the 1.5 RS Navi CVT is now selling for Php 1,085,000 (+Php 14,000). As for the 8-seater minivan, the EX and EX-V Navi are now at Php 2,288,000 (+Php 150,000) and Php 2,688,000 (+Php 190,000). accordingly.
Only two models were not affected by Honda’s price increase this July 2019; the Accord and the HR-V. The midsize sedan still retails for Php 1,938,000 while the sleek crossover is still selling for Php 1,295,000 and Php 1,495,000 for the 1.8 E and 1.8 RS versions accordingly. Meanwhile, the refreshed 2019 Civic and BR-V maintain their prices still.
