Honda Cars Philippines Inc. (HCPI) is celebrating its 30th anniversary with the launch of an all-new model. After making its world reveal nearly a year ago in Thailand, HCPI will officially introduce the all-new City on October 22, 2020.

Have plans on buying the new City? Good news. HCPI is now accepting reservations for the new B-segment sedan. Interested customers can now inquire at any of Honda's 34 authorized dealerships in the country. There will be a total of four variants available (1.5 RS CVT, 1.5 V CVT, 1.5 S CVT, 1.5 S MT) and all will be powered by a new 1.5-liter four-cylinder i-VTEC engine.

While it may have the same displacement as the previous engine, the new inline-four now benefits from DOHC instead of SOHC. All in all, the engine makes 121 PS along with 145 Nm of torque. Based on the previously mentioned variants, the 2021 City will be available with either a CVT or a five-speed manual transmission.

Besides giving interested buyers a chance to reserve a unit before its official launch, Honda will also be giving away PhP 5,000 worth of e-gift certificates upon every successful referral. This special promo is only available to all current Honda owners and is available from October 15 to December 31, 2020. Interested referrers may visit for more information.
