Both models include the new 7" touchscreen Display Audio and Expanded View Driver's Mirror
Honda North American lineup of fuel efficient 2014 Civic models has a new addition through its recently launched 2014 Civic Hybrid and Civic Natural Gas models. With these new Civic models, Honda has enhanced its diverse lineup of fuel efficient and alternative fuel models.
Both the Civic Hybrid and Civic Natural Gas are equipped with new features such as an 7-inch touchscreen display audio that allows users to pinch, swipe and tap just like a smart phone to access audio. Aside from audio, the touchscreen allows users to have vehicle information and available navigation features. Furthermore, it’s also the interface for Honda’s HondaLink™ which is an application that connects the user’s smart phone to the car so that it can provide access to online and cloud-based content and information both inside and outside the car.
Honda says the 2014 Civic Hybrid and Civic Natural Gas also has and Expanded View Driver’s Mirror that can enhance the driver’s surrounding view. The Civic Hybrid is also equipped with a Push Button Start.
The 2014 Civic Hybrid and Civic Natural Gas comes with a 5-speed automatic transmission. Both models are assembled at Honda Manufacturing of Indiana located in Greensburg, IN3.
However, these new Civic models are only available in the U.S. so far. The 2014 Civic Hybrid is already on sale nationwide while 2014 Civic Natural Gas, the only factory-produced natural gas-powered vehicle from a major automaker, on-sale in only 37 states starting Feb. 15.
