The winners of Reader's Digest's Survey have been voted by readers of Reader's Digest in seven Asian markets namely Hong Kong, India, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, Malaysia and the Philippines. In partnership with Nielsen Media Research, world leader in media research and analysis, Reader's Digest Asia sent over 300,000 questionnaires and conducted 3,500 phone interviews. 22% of questionnaire respondents and 14% of phone interview sample came from the Philippines.
Consumers were asked to name their single most trusted brand among 43 categories of products and services, and then rate the brand based on six factors: trustworthiness, credible image, quality, value, understanding of customer needs and innovation.
Now on its ninth year, Reader's Digest Trusted Brands Survey is known for being one of the most transparent branding surveys in Asia. Achieving Trusted Brands status is the ultimate recognition of the consumers' approval. Trusted Brands award winners are brands that have achieved a high level of consumer awareness and have exceptional performance based on a range of qualities and values.
