When Typhoon Ulysses hit the Philippines last week, it brought Metro Manila and nearly the entire island of Luzon to its knees with strong winds, widespread flooding, and displacing thousands in the process.

To help vehicle owners that were affected by the rampant floods across Luzon and in the capital, Honda Cars Philippines Inc. (HCPI) is reducing the prices of selected parts by 30%. Most of the items offered with a 30% discount are electronic parts that may have been damaged by the floods.

The following parts from HCPI have their prices reduced by 30%: ECU, Throttle Body, Alternator, Starter Motor, Radiator Fan Motor, Cooling Fan Motor, SRS Unit, Airbag Module, Cable Reel, Fuse Box (MICU), Accelerator Pedal, Meter Assembly, EPS, Heater Control, and Seatbelt Pretensioner.

For customers whose Honda vehicles were affected by the typhoon, they may avail of the discount at any authorized Honda Cars Dealership and Service Center in Metro Manila and Luzon area. Affected customers may also call or visit said dealerships and service centers to request assistance.

Although it may not be a donation in kind or funds, the discount on costly electronic parts needed to repair flood-damaged vehicles will help ease the burden of affected vehicle owners across Luzon and Metro Manila.
