Honda has just released the official design sketches of their upcoming mini crossover dubbed as the Bold Runabout Vehicle (BR-V).
Set to be revealed at this year's Gaikindo Indonesian International Auto Show, the BR-V is a 7-seater utility crossover that combines a sleek exterior along with a high ground clearance of an SUV. Design-wise it features Honda's distinct design language with the front sporting a large bumper, chrome grill and wide headlights.
Streaks of character lines can be seen on the side along with roof rails, flared wheel arches and stylish alloys. The rear also gets the sporty treatment with a roof-mounted spoiler, diffuser, shapely bumper and sleek taillights.
Sketches of the interior were not provided but Honda states that this will be a 7-seater in a three-row configuration.
It will be powered by a 1.5-liter inline-four which will likely come from the City. There will be two available transmissions of which Honda has yet to detail.
The upcoming BR-V was developed by Honda R&D Asia Pacific Co. Ltd. (HRAP) which is based in Thailand. The 7-seater mini crossover is the third model wholly developed by HRAP.
The 2015 Gaikindo Indonesian International Motor Show will run from August 20 – 30, 2015 and will be held in Tangerang, Indonesia.
