Honda releases specs, features of 2022 Civic for PH

All variants of all-new Civic to get VTEC Turbo, Honda Sensing

Honda Cars Philippines Inc (HCPI) has something special later this month. After making its regional debut in Thailand last August, the 11th generation Civic will make its Philippine debut on November 23, 2021.

To keep us excited for the Civic's debut, the automaker has revealed several details of the upcoming sedan. For starters, there will be a total of three variants of the 11th generation sedan, and all will come with a turbocharged 1.5-liter VTEC Turbo engine.

-Civic RS Turbo CVT Honda Sensing

Aside from having a turbocharged engine across the range, the automaker says all models will come standard with the improved Honda Sensing suite of intelligent safety features. This gives the Civic smart safety systems that include collision mitigation braking system, lane-keeping assist, road departure mitigation system with lane departure warning, auto high-beam, and adaptive cruise control with low-speed follow. There's also a lead car departure notification system – the newest feature in Honda Sensing.

To celebrate the upcoming launch, HCPI will be offering customers the chance to purchase a Platinum White Pearl All-New Honda Civic for all variants at no additional cost until November 30, 2021.

Customers that will reserve a unit of the all-new Civic Turbo V CVT until December 30, 2021, will be entitled to a free Modulo Trunk Tray and Modulo Exhaust Pipe Finisher on top of all the other promotions offered for the month of the vehicle release until January 31, 2022. The Civic Turbo V Turbo models will arrive in January 2022.

Pricing of the 2022 Honda Civic will range from PHP 1.3 million to PHP 1.7 million. Available colors will include Lunar Silver Metallic, Ignite Red Metallic, Meteoroid Gray Metallic, Morning Mist Blue Metallic, and Platinum White Pearl.
