Honda reveals revised 2011 Accord
Honda Cars Philippines, Inc. just released an updated version of the Accord executive car at an event at Opus in Resorts World Manila.
The new 2011 Accord sedan gets a fresh new look, improving upon the design of the current generation, initially introduced in 2008. The new executive car features a new look with a revised front end, a new grille, new bumpers and other touches like a chrome garnish on the trunklid. Both 2.4 liter and 3.5 liter variants now come with front corner sensors in addition to rear sensors for easier parking and convenience. Furthermore, the 2.4-liter variant gets a new 17" alloy wheel to match the new style.
The engine options for the Accord remains the same. The 3.5 liter V6 engine delivers maximum power of 275 horsepower equipped with Variable Cylinder Management (VCM) that closes down cylinders when not needed, to maximize fuel mileage and lessen harmful emissions. Meanwhile, the 2.4 liter variant continues with Honda's i-VTEC engine technology and delivers maximum power output of 180 horsepower. As with the rest of HCPI's product line-up, the Accord meets EURO-4 emission standards.
Inside, plush leather seats fitted with only the finest choice of interior materials provide comforting luxury for the new Accord sedan. For added enhancement, it also features a new retractable keyfob. And to complement the demands of modern living, the 3.5-liter variant now comes with hands-free telephone connectivity via Bluetooth to handle calls safely and conveniently.
