Seeing your own car wrecked by floods is a devastating sight for many car enthusiasts. Well, for Honda, that sight can be multiplied a thousand fold... literally.

Over at Honda Thailand, the automaker is proceeding to scrap over a thousand brand new vehicles that were caught in their stockyard at their plant in Ayutthaya during last year's floods.

The worst floods in Thailand in the past 50 years had claimed over 600 lives, and for Honda, it claimed 1,055 examples of the new Brio, Civic and City, among others. As a guarantee to customers that these flood damaged models don't make it to showrooms, all are currently being scrapped.

Honda's employees used construction equipment and car crushers to demolish the units.
