Honda America has revealed the updated Civic for the 2015 model year.
The automaker says the Civic lineup received significant design upgrades for 2014 such as a restyled exterior, new wheel designs, interior refinements, a new continuously variable transmission (CVT), among others.
For the 2015 Civic, the said styling upgrades are retained by Honda along with new features that includes a rearview camera with guidelines, expanded view driver's mirror and Bluetooth HandsFreeLink 3. It also has a 7-inch touchscreen audio display, HondaLinkTM connected-car technology, LaneWatch system and push start button.
Moreover, Honda introduces a new Special Edition (SE) Civic variant packed with 15-inch aluminum alloy wheels with black painted inserts and CVT. The 2015 Civic SE also comes with automatic climate control, a Display Audio system, additional tweeter speakers and the Honda LaneWatch system.
The 2015 Civic is equipped with a 1.8-liter i-VTEC engine, but Honda America has not provide other powertain details.
The starting price for the 2015 Civic strats at USD 18,290 (around PHP 808,970) while the 2015 Civic SE sedan is priced at USD 19,990 (about PHP 884,160).
