HARI Foundation Inc. (HFI), the corporate social responsibility arm of Hyundai Asia Resources Incorporated (HARI) , and Gawad Kalinga continue their partnership which is now close to ten years. Held at Hyundai's Center for Green Innovation at the GK Enchanted Farm in Angat, Bulacan, the main theme of the summit was about Shared Prosperity.

Ms. Ma. Fe Perez-Agudo, president of Hari Foundation Inc, presided the event, mainly about building sustainable communities. “The key to a sustainable corporate social investment lies in identifying one’s sense of purpose and, from there, grow one’s work to benefit both business and society.”, said Agudo. She also pointed out that the event venue itself, HCGI, stands as a symbol of Hyundai and GK's shared vision to educate the youth and other sectors of society. Teaching them that environmental stewardship is a key pillar in building sustainable communities.

The summit highlighted the experiences of GK partners from the private sector in developing markets that matched that of the government. The Plenary Session had made business leaders talking about nurturing the concept of “disruption for shared prosperity” within their families, and not only about the progress of their respective advocacies.
