HARI inaugurates Hyundai Dream Center Philippines in Laguna
It's official, Hyundai Asia Resoruces Inc (HARI), the official distributor of Hyundai vehicles in the country, has just opened their world-class training center in the country. Called the Hyundai Dream Center Philippines (HDCP), it will serve as the brand's education hub for underprivileged students.
“HDCP symbolizes not just our commitment to contribute to human capital development in the automotive industry, but our dream of improving the lives of Filipinos as well. We are especially proud that our partners could meet the first batch of scholars and witness their progress firsthand,” said Ma. Fe Perez-Agudo, HARI president and CEO.
Present during the event were key personnel from Hyundai Motor Group (HMG), Plan International, officials from the national, provincial and local government, as well as from the first batch of HDCP scholars.
HDCP is the fruit of the partnership between HARI, HMG, and global humanitarian organization Plan International. The Dream Center will provide a wide range of training curriculum that will equip HARI employees and scholars the necessary skills and tech know-how in the automotive industry.
“When you dream alone, chances are you will stay dreaming. But when you dream a dream together and pursue it, then that dream becomes a reality. Built on the pillars of commitment, inclusiveness, and human capital, the big idea comes alive before our very own eyes - Hyundai Dream Center Philippines,” added Agudo-Perez.
Capping off the event was done by the first batch of HDCP scholars who created a colorful mural of handprints which represented their dreams for the future and their contributions. HDCP partners and guests, on the other hand, responded by releasing butterflies, symbolizing the company's objective to provide Filipinos the tools they need to seek out new careers and opportunities.
Hyundai Dream Center Philippines is located at the Hyundai Logistics Center (HLC) in Calamba, Laguna.
