From the funky Kona all the way to the imposing Palisade, Hyundai has plenty of SUVs / crossovers available under the sun.

By now, it looks like the Korean automaker has covered every high-riding segment. Come this year's New York International Auto Show however, Hyundai will be revealing an all-new crossover that will join the ranks of the Tucson, Kona and Santa Fe. It's called 'Venue' and will serve as the brand's latest entry-level crossover vehicle.

From its namesake, the Venue references places that people want to be seen. For Hyundai, the new model will symobilze trendy new styles for the next-generation of car buyers. In addition, Venue will embody the characteristics of 'the place to be' in this day and age.

With only so much details to go on, we're not entirely sure yet as to what the Venue will look like and what technologies it will have. What we do know is that it will slot below the Kona which means it will be smaller than its B-segment stablemate. As for its styling, rumor has it that the Venue will have a boxy and bold look.

Without much to go on, we'll just have to wait and see come April 17, 2019 when Hyundai officially reveals the Venue in New York.
