Looking to have your Hyundai serviced once community quarantine restrictions have relaxed? Hyundai is gearing up for the eventual reopening of their dealerships across the country and they have announced a new program for after-sales services that aim to give vehicle owners a hassle-free experience.

Dubbed as the ARMOR (Active Response, Management, Operations, and Resumption) program, it outlines new guidelines to help Hyundai service centers use online resources, maximizing contact-less transactions and the application of prescribed health and sanitation measures to maintain social distancing measures.

This is how we want to welcome everyone back: armed with a foolproof and sustainable means to protect you and your vehicles so that we all have better journeys and face better days ahead,” said HARI President and CEO Ms. Ma. Fe Perez-Agudo.

New Hyundai PH service program will reduce social contact image

The first step that customers can make is by calling Hyundai's 24/7 customer contact center which can cater to online and remote service appointments and consultations. The second step is done upon the customer’s arrival at the dealership. Customers will have their temperature checked and will be given sanitizers upon entry. Meanwhile, their vehicles will be subjected to anti-bacterial misting. The third step is receiving and advising, where digital devices will be used for contact-less walk-around, the explanation of costs, the scope of work to be done, and the authorization of job orders.

During the fourth step which is vehicle servicing, two-way radios will be used between departments such as job control, parts, the workshop, and washing to ensure quick and efficient work. Sanitation of high-contact parts such as door handles will also be done in order to avoid transmitting diseases. The fifth step is the handover that is done with contactless payment methods and delivery procedures. Finally, post-service follow-ups can be done via the online channels of Hyundai.

Other programs that Hyundai is offering include a deep-cleaning service package, home servicing, and special PMS promos for service discounts and freebies.
