Hyundai Asia Resources Inc. (HARI), the Philippines’ official distributor of Hyundai vehicles, recently launched the new Grand Starex Super Express, which is the commercial version of the brand's Grand Starex.

The automaker said that the Grand Starex Super Express was produced with the Filipino commuters and drivers in mind. Like standard versions of the Grand Starex, the commercial version gets double sliding doors, which enable passengers to easily ingress and egress from both sides of the vehicle.

Inside, it is equipped with an expansive cabin, which provides more leg room and hip room for its passengers than conventional shuttle vans. The 15-seating capacity is also multipurpose. By simply folding the bench-type rear seats, you can make room for any tall and wide cargos. Completing the interior features are the equally distributed A/C vents from the front seats up to the last row.

Under the hood, it is powered by a 2.5-liter TCI turbo-diesel that produces 100 PS at 3800 rpm and 225 Nm of torque at 2000 rpm. The engine is then connected to a 5-speed manual gearbox.
